Initially planned four weeks spent, on the road and roadsides, travel companion starting to live in and complain about the world where he alone is making effort and having hardships, landlady texting me about my return date, higher bits of account balance starting to get cleared out — right time to fly back to Sydney from Darwin.

While I was away, almost everyone in the house has (re-)started smoking. Metropolis life.

maybe see you again during monsoon season. Photo at newly developed Waterfront Precinct which among other things includes artificial wave pool (for people reasonably afraid of jellyfish and crocs). No surfers there :)
